Welcome to the Henry Cort Junior Badminton Club

Here you will find lots of information about our club. The club is a friendly place to come and learn to play badminton. We play at Henry Cort Community College, Henry Cort Drive, Hillson Drive, Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 6PH.

Saturdays – £2.00 per session per player

Entry Group: Beginners – 7 – 13yrs old 9.00 a.m. – 10.45 a.m.

Coach – Andy Fox (Level 2 Badminton England, BE) and Susan Davey (Level 2 BE).

Intermediate Group: 13 to 15/16yrs – 10.30 a.m. – 12.15 p.m.

Coach – Susan Davey (Level 2 BE)

Senior Group: 14 – 18yrs – 12.15 p.m. – 2.00 p.m.

Coach – Graham Cross (Level 2 BE)

Other Coaches – Harry Fox (level 2 BE) and Scott Taylor (Level 1 BE).

Typical Club Session
Registration
Warm Up (including agility, balance and coordination)
Skills (strokes, tactics, movement, speed, endurance)
Break for drinks, getting to know each other
Games – conditioned games/free play
Warm down

Fees

There is an annual membership fee which covers 1st October – 31st Sept each year and we advise parents of the forthcoming fees in September each year.

There is a fee per player to cover each session.  This is payable in advance at the start of each term and parents will be advise of this at the beginining of each term.

All fees are non-refundable.

Tuesdays

Graham is running Tuesay sessions 7.30pm – 9pm Coaches selection invitation only intended as extra sessions for those attending on Saturdays.

Selection is open to players from all groups. Session fees are paid half-termly in advance. Fees are payable no later than the second week of every academic half-term. For more information contact Graham Cross.
